The Tetero baskets are traditional from the Eperaara tribe. The patterns weaved on the body of the baskets rapresents the ideas and thoughts of the artisan women of the community of Canaan.
After being forced to leave their territories, a group of 10 artisans formed a community who work mainly the craft of basketry using the tetera and chocolatillo straw.
With the colors of the earth, all the Tetero baskets are unique, 100% hand-weaved only by women who work with passion and love, entwining customs and traditions of their ancestors.
