Mexican San Antonino cotton dress
This tunic dress arrives from the city of San Antonino Castillo Velasco, in the Oaxaca region, which is known as the ‘cradle of embroidery’ where women since early ages learn this art and treasure each piece they adorn like a child. Its flowery pattern is inspired by roses and pansies typical of this region and it’s all embroidered by hand using either a silk or cotton thread taking up to a few days per dress!
