Tanzanian Maasai bracelet
The Tanzania Maasai bracelets are part of an exclusive capsule collection entirely produced with traditional Maasai techniques by the women from the village of Mkuru with the support of Tanzania Maasai Women Art.
Tanzania Maasai Women Art, an independent and self-sustaining organization started in 2006 as a project of the NGO Istituto Oikos and Oikos East Africa, today supports more than 180 women, who have gained economic independence and are able to preserve their incredible talent.
The proceeds will be given entirely to the Mamas, and will ensure their families access to two meals a day and medical assistance.
Moreover, this thousand-year old culture will live on for centuries to come.
